Olympia Section Field Trip

Please join the Olympia Section to learn about operations of the Port of Olympia followed by a networking lunch.

Location: 911 Franklin St. Olympia, WA 98501. This address is the Marine Terminal Guard Gate Entrance.

• Parking will be in the gravel lot just to the right as you enter the marine terminal.  The guard gate security officer will reinforce the parking location.

Tour Details:

• Learn about Port history and its role in the global community
• STAND ON THE DOCK where vessels, trucks and trains move cargo
• GET UP CLOSE to equipment that is impressive by size alone
• SEE WHAT’S INSIDE the on-dock warehouse with its solar-paneled roof.
• Approximate tour length: 1 hour
• No apparel requirements.  We will issue safety vests upon arrival.
• Everyone will need a government issued I.D. to enter (Driver’s license, passport etc).
