Olympia Section Meeting – August 2018

Thanks to all who responded to our survey. There is enough interest to revitalize the Olympia section. A meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 8 am to 10 am at:

Here is the tentative agenda for the meeting:

–        1.  Introductions

–        2. Assistance from ASSP Region 1

–        3. Section bylaws and ASSP model section bylaws – seeking volunteers to serve on bylaws committee to review and recommend changes

–        4. Section officers and operating committee member – seeking volunteers

–        5. Section meeting location – Olympia, Tacoma, Gig Harbor or Bremerton – until January 2018, the section was alternating between Olympia and Tacoma

–        6. Section meeting date, time, location – the section has been meeting on the fourth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 pm

–        7. Planning meetings for 2018/2019 – need to hold at least four technical meetings a year; prefer to include at least one field trip

–        8. Other
