Our November Mt. Baker Section meeting we will be held in-person at Jalapenos Restaurant in Barkley square (Bellingham, WA) on Wednesday, November 19th. We will order dinner at 5:30pm and our speaker will begin at around 6pm.
Speaker: Travis Millhollin
Presenting: What’s REALLY Your Safety Standard?
Travis Millhollin will be discussing an incident that happened in 1994 at the Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane. This incident involved increasingly risky behavior by their chief pilot, and the discussion will cover several safety leadership themes.
Travis has 34 years of experience across refining, construction, and consulting. Â He worked for most of his career locally with BP and Phillips 66 in roles involving safety management, operations, maintenance, process engineering, and business planning. For the past nine years, Travis has provided leadership and safety consulting to refining, engineering, and contracting firms, and serves as the Executive Director of the Northwest Construction Consumer Council, whose mission is to facilitate education and networking among Pacific Northwest construction professionals.
