Submit a Presentation Abstract NOW

This year’s Northwest Occupational Health Conference will be held in Bremerton, Washington.  The Northwest Occupational Health Conference has a national reputation as a dynamic, high quality, multi-disciplinary conference – one of, if not THE, oldest in the country.  The quality of this conference is, in large part, due to the great volunteer time spent to put on the conference and the interesting, timely papers presented.  Members of the Pacific Northwest Section, generously shared with colleagues the results of their case studies, field investigation, research efforts, and program evaluations at last year’s conference.  We’re also expecting the 2018 conference to provide the high quality experience expected of the NOHC.

The Program Planning Committee is now calling for papers for the 2018 NOHC.  The Short Course will be held on Wednesday, October 10 and the General Sessions will be held on Thursday, October 11 and Friday, October 12.   Conference sessions include; industrial hygiene, safety, and laboratory analysis.  Let us know what new things you are doing and submit an abstract of your idea for a presentation.  Research projects from professors and/or students are accepted too.  Presentations should be 30-40 minutes in length and may be on topics relevant to the occupational health and safety professions.  Please submit the attached Presentation Abstract form by May 1, 2018.
