Puget Sound Chapter Kickoff Meeting – September 2025

This will be the “Chapter Annual Kickoff Meeting” with updates from the region, chapter, and educational partners, including:

Jennifer Serne and George Long, Student Section Advisors/Professor Central Washington University
Darren Linker, Edmonds and Pierce Colleges

Traci Snyder ASSP Region 1 AD and Justin Molocznik ASSP Region 1 VP

Join us as we kick off the 2025-26 ASSP chapter year as we discuss:

1. Chapter Goals and Focus for the year
2. Regional Goals and Focus for the year
3. Surrounding Collegiate Safety Programs and Educators
   1. Central Washington University
   2. Edmonds Community College
   3. University of Washington

• Learn about the goals and focus set by the Puget Sound executive board for the 2025-26 calendar year.
• Learn about ways you can get involved with the chapter.
• Reconnect with members after the summer break.
• Discover what ASSP region 1 has planned for this year.
• Learn about continuing education and higher learning programs offered by our local colleges.
• Learn what the chapter/ region has planned for this year and how you can be involved.
• Discover the educational resources found at our local collegiate safety programs.

We are meeting in person at the Doubletree Suites at Southcenter and offering a virtual option via Zoom.

For those attending in person, the chapter will cover the cost of your breakfast, but please register accordingly so that we have enough food and a room large enough to accommodate everyone.

For those attending in person, please plan to arrive between 7:00-7:30 and join us for a buffet breakfast at 7:30 AM.  We will begin the presentation at 8:00 for those attending virtually.
